January 2021 finds the people of God faced with something all civilizations have faced since the fall. The absolute hatred and darkness that comes against God and His people. Jesus said if they hated me they will hate you.

At this moment in history, our nation is again in a very narrow place, however it is not the first time. Its a long story of enemies assailing the inhabitants of this land to undermine the freedom and light so given by the Creator. We tend to take it personal when we are persecuted for our faith, yet the greater reality is that they are persecuting the One living within us. Jesus said to Saul on the road to Damascus, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?”

This narrow place should not be a surprise to us. The bride of Christ being the most misunderstood entity on the face of the earth experiences ongoing persecution in the narrow place. Anything that does not make room for what God made room for through the sacrifice of His Son, is persecution. We’ve all done it. Ultimately we are doing it to Jesus. Hence the scripture instructs us to everything heartily as unto the Lord.

The present evil outrage against the Constitution and all who ascribe to the republic therein, is normal for those have been given over to a reprobate mind. Still it is Satan using man to undermine, steal, kill, and destroy. The enemy stole the election and all who came into agreement with it stole with them; who’s end is destruction of the worst kind.

God’s heart is to redeem that which was lost. He has already provided everything necessary to see it accomplished. Could it be that the Father has at this time found a remnant faithful bride who He can trust to handle the rejection and persecution to place this sin into a place where redemption can be displayed. Traitors deserve to die but Jesus came to give life including those who are out to kill, steal and destroy. Justice will be served; it may not come in the time frame we’d like. God says vengeance is mine, I will repay. Our call is to respond according to the Father’s heart. This does not come natural. If we stoop to take revenge we may end up being the persecutors.
